Here’s Why Black Twitter Think Drake And Beyonce’s Latest Releases Are Amapiano Inspired. Just a few days after Drake shocked the world with the release of his new dance album, “Honestly, Nevermind” Beyoncé has herself released an equally surprising dance/house single titled “Break My Soul”. The single appears to be the lead single to Beyonce’s forthcoming album, “Renaissance” which is expected to drop on July 29.
“I’m on that new vibration,” sings Beyoncé on her new single, Break My Soul. “I’m buildin’ my own foundation.” The foundation of her new sound actually dates back to the diva house movement of the 1990s, with its deep grooves, soaring melodies and insistent four-four beats. There were those who defended the project by giving musical takes and citing Drizzy’s inspiration as well as offering that this is a new era for the rapper, and fans are now drawing sonic similarities to Beyoncé’s new single, “Break My Soul.”
Black Twitter started concluding that the two projects from the American stars are different from what they usually deliver. Stating that they were amapiano inspired, considering how the sound has evolved and become a huge sound that almost everyone is currently vibing to. Check out some of the reactions:

“Someone said Drake and Beyoncé thought they were making Amapiano songs,” wrote @leadmenowhere.
