DJ Zandimaz Remembers Her Late Brother On His Birthday. South African based Zimbabwean music producer Zandile “DJ Zandimaz” Mazithulela is one of the female DJs making headlines as of recently. With DJ Zinhle as her main inspiration, Zandimaz is one of the most notable DJs and producers in South Africa’s dance music scene.

The Amapiano star took to social media to remember her late little brother. The DJ shared a picture of her late little brother, wishing him a happy birthday. She also shared that she is not okay and feeling heartbroken. “I’m really not ok,” she wrote with crying emojies. See posts:

Having started DJing and producing in 2012 while still in university, Zandimaz, originally from Zimbabwe, took some time to gain confidence as a musician. Zandimaz knew she was on the right track when she won a competition and became the resident DJ for Cubana Club from 2013 until 2014.

After some self-introspection during the 2020 lockdown, Zandimaz decided to release her first 2020 breakout single, “Emathandweni,” an amapiano smoothie featuring Nokwazi’s lush and expansive vocals about being crazy in love.
