Watch! Kamo Mphela Opens Up About Her Entertainment Dream Beyond Music. Kamo Mphela is a South African dancer turned musician who became an internet sensation after she posted a video of her dancing on her social media account. She is the featured voice and dancer behind the Amapiano hit songs Sukendleleni and Labantwana Ama

Kamo Mphela has dreams of being an actress, and she revealed that during her visit at a local primary school, where she also shared how her father supported her dreams since she was young. “I want to become an actress, and this is a dream I always had for the longest time, since high school actually. My dad, ‘come here papa’, he always had my back till today, he supports my dreams,” the emotional Kamo said. Check out the video below:

Talking about her career, the dancer revealed that she wants to make the most out of her fame because it doesn’t last very long. “The fame doesn’t last that long so you have to make the most of it while you still have time. That’s what people don’t understand. It’s not a lifetime thing unless you are legendary,” she said.

In an interview with Mac G, Kamo spoke about fame and how it does not last, “The fame doesn’t last that long so you have to make the most of it while you still have time. That’s what people don’t understand. It’s not a lifetime thing unless you are legendary.” She adds. “Cassper is still the biggest artist but he still has to convince people that he is the best. I don’t want to go through that personally. There’s only so much you can do in your own country. Fill Up was the biggest so what’s next? It’s easy to get to the top but it’s hard to stay there.
