Amapiano Artists And Their Tattoos

Amapiano Artists And Their Tattoos. Amapiano (also known as ipiano or ’piano) began in the streets of Gauteng, South Africa, in the early 2010s. The now world-conquering sound is a sub-genre of deep house that usually clocks in at around 110bpm, and is typified by extended intros, soaring synth lines built on euphoric chord progressions, chasmic grooves, vibrant shakers and wide, sustained basslines.

Focalistic

Foca is poised to live his best life this year. The talented muso has been one of the most successful artists on the scene for a while now. He practically owned the previous year with various solo hits, an album and features. Obviously in a mood to do something for himself, he went and got new ink on his body. Though Focalistic is a fan of tattoos, this time he got a tattoo of his stage name ‘Foca’ on his fingers. To show off his new tattoo, Foca took to his Instagram to share pictures.

Uncle Waffles

On Thursday, Waffles, with the help of her tattoo artist Tattoos By Sihle, took to social media to premiere her new ink, the Latin phrase “Deo Volente” etched across her tummy. The phrase, meaning “God being willing” speaks to the DJ’s lightspeed ascension to stardom, considering she was an up-and-comer not so long ago.

Sir Trill tattooed a ghost on his hand which may be because of his debut album, titled, Ghost.The singer dropped the album in January 12, 2022.Speaking about the album, Trill said, “THE BLIND WILL SEE . THE DEAF WILL HEAR AND THE DEAD WILL LIVE AGAIN.”Well, he has done a tattoo on his body and his fans are proud of him.

Abidoza

Born and raised in Marokolong Hammanskraal, Amogelang Thorne Chabangu developed a passion and drive for music. This then gave birth to the ABIDOZA brand. With over 10 years of experience in the South African music industry his first major production came in 2018 when he produced the hit song Baby Boy with Tumza D’Kota and Tsitso. Having mastered the art of production he went on to release his debut album titled Musical Touch in 2019. The star has also decided to join the list of artists with tattoos, as he got a tattoo of a piano which symbolises his love.fr the musical instrument.

Mr JazziQ

Amapiano producer Mr JazziQ got inked in honour of his late friend, amapiano sensation Mpura. Taking to his Instagram Stories recently, the musician shared a picture of his new tat. It’s been over eight months since Mpura and Killer Kau died in a tragic car accident, Mpura, Killer Kau and four other artists were killed while driving on the N4 in Marikana on their way to perform in Rustenburg.
