Watch! Maphorisa Showered With Love By Chance The Rapper During His Gig In Chicago. Maphorisa first shot to fame in 2013 as part of the multifarious musical group, Uhuru. The group blew up off the anthemic Y-Tjukutja in 2013, which owned the summer. That same year, Uhuru further enhanced its reputation by producing and featuring on Mafikizolo’s chart-topping, multi award-winning hit single, Khona.

Truly the work(s) of greatness won’t go unnoticed. This is so with the South African DJ Maphorisa who was spotted sharing the stage with American hiphop rapper Chance The Rapper. A recent video of Maphorisa playing in Chicago is making rounds on social media. He was seen with American rapper Chance The Rapper who approached the DJ and gave him a brotherly hug showing him with love and support. Watch the video below:

Maphorisa revealed that he owes his success to Kalawa Jazmee, the recording label that has given him an opportunity to do what he loves. “I’ve always envisioned myself being successful. When I got my first computer and realised that I could produce, I started making beats and became a DJ. That’s when I knew that I would one day go far,” he said.

He adds that Mjakes from Kalawa Jazmee gave him his big break and told him that he had talent that needed to be nurtured. He shares that his love for Amapiano was influenced by his travels.“I’ve travelled to different countries and got to experience different beats and dances. That has helped with my music.”
