Lady Du Reveals Why Her Neighbour Recently Called The Police On Her. Lady Du is currently one of the hottest voices in amapiano. Born into a family of musicians, her father DJ Choc and uncle DJ Zan D are reputable deejays and producers. Lady Du, real name Dudu Ngwenya, first learned how to play at the tender age of nine. Since then and during her early adult life, she had been trying to get a successful break into the music industry.
Lady Du recently bought new cars, the latest one being a Mercedes Benz truck. With that said, she has acquired cars and a house for herself and has been open about it. She took to social media that her neighbour called the police on her because she has a lot of cars. She mentioned that to her neighbour it looks wrong for a black person to have achieved so much luxurious cars, without being a criminal. Taking to social media, Lady Du expressed her frustration of feeling like a criminal in her own house. “My neighbour called cops to check my property because he doesn’t understand why I have so many cars when I just moved i, it looks wrong to him. 💔💔 I guess black people cant own luxury cars if they are not criminals 😭 yho that time I actually felt like a criminal in my own yard,” she wrote.
Though she had been in the music industry for quite a while, her breakthrough only came under a year ago through the track “Superstar”, alongside revered amapiano deejay and producer Mr JazziQ.
