Lady Du Remembers Mpura In Heartfelt Message. Lady Du is currently one of the hottest voices in amapiano. Born into a family of musicians, her father DJ Choc and uncle DJ Zan D are reputable deejays and producers. Lady Du, real name Dudu Ngwenya, first learned how to play at the tender age of nine. Since then and during her early adult life, she had been trying to get a successful break into the music industry.

Lady Du has once again remember her late friend, Mpura as she took to her social media to write to him.Mpura and Killer Kau died last year in a tragic accident and Lady Du is still heart broken.Taking to Instagram, the songstress shared photos of them together saying she misses him.Lady Du also shared the new tattoo on her wrist believed to be about her late friends. The singer blesses social media followers daily with emotional post about how she’s mourning her friends, who had great impacts in her music career.Lady Du said: “It was your soul that touched us all!!! We miss you @mpura_mpura Thank you God for this, you guys have a special place in my heart ❤️ abo buti bam 😍😍😍 First Lady of the yanos”

Lady Du has taken the death of the stars very badly and upon hearing the news even shared an emotional tribute to her late “brothers”. “I don’t think I wanted to do this but I feel like I want to do it. We are not celebrities when we lose our brothers, we’re not celebrities when we’re in pain, nobody can handle the pain of losing people that they care about. Guys, please understand that with me, I’m not a celebrity when it comes to losing people I care about… I’ve never felt so weak in my life… uMpura and Killer Kau touched me in a way that one has ever touched me and I don’t expect anyone to understand that, that for me to understand.”

The star also urged South Africans to pray for divine intervention to prevent premature deaths.“Fame doesn’t mean anything when you lose people that you love. Artists are broken… we need to be there for one another because we risk our lives to get to events to make people happy.
