The 29-second video was shared after the star took part in the viral Umlando dance challenge, where people film themselves dancing to the amapiano song.
After Dineo participated in the challenge, the radio personality got suspended for misconduct in the SABC Auckland Park studios. The reasons were that she was dancing on top of the company’s furniture.
Thando Thabethe is a South African actress, TV personality and Radio DJ who was the presenter for the television show Thando Bares All on channel TLC and current drive time host on 947. Thando Thabethe and Alex Craig from Thando Thabethe’s 947 drive time show Drive with Thando participated in the Umlando Challenge in the 947 studios. Thando Thabethe shared the video on her Instagram page, and she used the words “Fire flames team” in the caption. Another Highveld stereo team member featured in the video is Lerato Ho.
Both the radio stations are rivals as they are not under the same broadcasting channel. Although it has signed the BCCSA code of conduct, Highveld Stereo is an independent radio station. Metro FM, on the other hand, is a SABC radio station.
