Watch! New Dance #UmlandoChallenge Takes Over Social Media. The new dance craze setting social media is abuzz is all the rage right now. While the country was still in the phase of enjoying the trigger dance challenge, it seems there is a new dance challenge in the block, and this could be only participated by men only. The track is by Tsakane-born artist Toss who started the dance challenge to promote his upcoming track, Umlando. The amapiano track features the likes of 9umber, Mdoovar, Sino Msolo, Lady Du, Young Stunna, Sir Trill and Slade.
Called the #UmlandoChallenge, it requires you to shake your hips from side to side and up and down in the most random and creative places to hit amapiano song uMlando. The original video of the challenge has over 950,000 views on Twitter. The dance moves also include suggestive gyrating.
Toss is considered a rising star in the music industry and uMlando is heating up the airways and TikTok. He has shown his appreciation for the Umlando challenge which has helped propel the song even more. Taking to Instagram, he shared his favourite videos on his account, joking that the dance moves may be inspired by Colombian superstar Shakira.
Although the likes of Cassper Nyovest admitted he couldn’t get the song out of his head, he has shut down the possibility of featuring on a remix of the track saying people would “hate” his verse before hearing it. Most artists have joined the #UmlandoChallenge and are winding their waists this amapiano banger. Musicians Desire Marea, Prince Kuhley and amapiano vocalist Ch’cco all moved their hips in the dance challenge.
