Kamo Mphela Reacts To ‘Nkulunkulu’ Music Video Hitting 10 Million Views. South African vocalist, dancer and choreographer kamo Mphela has become a household name in the South African music industry. She dropped her Nkulunkulu EP last year, a vibrant 4-track project which features Vigro Deep, MFR Souls, Major League Djz and more. Kamo Mphela has been a major talking point on social media after killing it on international stages.

Her hit solo single ‘Nkulunkulu’ has topped the charts, while the music has amassed over 10 million views on YouTube. This is a huge milestone for the star considering that she hasn’t been in the music industry for quite a long time. Taking to social media to react to this, Kamo thanked her fans for the support they always show her. “Nkulunkulu on 10 million views , thank you to everyone who believes in the brand 🙏🏾. 2022 🤞🏾 May God Bless The Hustle,” she wrote.

She was recently compared to the late kwaito artist, Lebo Mathosa, and it sparked a huge conversation on social media. While the debate focused on whether the comparison had any merit to it (as is often the case in comparisons between new wave and veteran artists), what is undeniable is the talent of both women.

Furthermore, Before pursuing her dancing and singing career, Kamo Mphela had tried acting and was an extra on the TV show called Isibaya. Finally, Kamo Mphela later realized she did not enjoy acting and started performing as a gig dancer. Her dancing skills eventually got her the name “Queen of Amapiano”.
