Black Twitter Is Divided On Who Is Better Between Maphorisa And Madumane. Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe (born November 15, 1987), known professionally as DJ Maphorisa (or rather Madumane), is a South African record producer, DJ and vocalist.

Maphorisa has Twitter divided after he asked who was better than who between Maphorisa and Madumane. Considering that he uses both names, however it seems most Social media prefers Madumane who goes behind the mic than Maphorisa who is a producer. Check reactions below:

Is Madumane better then Dj Maphorisa 🤪????

Phori is the father, madumane is the son, kabza is the holly spirit . Without phori there’s no madumane and kabza pic.twitter.com/sc2OBus0Be

I never understood why some of Mpori songs would be like – Dj Maphorisa ft Kabza De Small & Madumane. Kanti ain't Maphorisa & Madumane the same person?🤔🤔… pic.twitter.com/vUmg47dDJi

I hate to say it, but Madumane floats on every song he’s on. https://t.co/VJcC8xrAKL

I can't wait for a beef between Maphorisa and Madumane. I wonder whose side Kabza is gonna take. pic.twitter.com/rs7VrgRVrf

When amapiano was still an underground genre, Maphorisa saw an opportunity to invest in the genre seeing the potential it has to grow. “With my gigs, I wanted to understand people’s reactions to this new sound because amapiano was underground. What really sparked my interest in the genre was that, at the time, I was looking to get into something that originated in South Africa. Amapiano is part of kwaito and dance music. When I started working with Afrobeats, which hails from Western Africa, I felt that we didn’t have a sound that strongly represented South Africa. When I started paying close attention to amapiano, I knew that this was a sound that would take South Africa to the world. There’s a lot that you can do with amapiano — you can make it soulful, funky, dusty and hard or jazz it up.”
