Focalistic Reacts To His Massive Streaming Numbers In A Period Of A Year. Lethabo Sebetso also known as FOCALISTIC and fondly referred to as the Pitori Maradona, is a South African recording artist and entertainer. FOCALISTIC made his first foray into music in 2016. Born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa, FOCALISTIC established a cult following while studying a Bachelor of Arts in Political Sciences at the University of Pretoria. After graduating, he chose to pursue his career in music full-time. As an artist, he believes that it is most important to relate to listeners through honest storytelling and genuine sentiment

Focalistic has once again shared his streaming numbers, and this time, it marks over a year since he shared the number of times he has been played on digital streaming platforms. In 2020, he had 1 million plays, and today, he shared that he has 26.6 million plays. This is very inspirational considering how far he comes with his music career. “Just to inspire anyone who’s thinking of giving up… this is THIS year,” he wrote.

Focalistic had announced that he bagged 7 (seven) nominations in this year’s All Africa Music Awards. This was a huge milestone for the star considering the fact that the AFRIMA are the international awards, which is something he has always wanted, to grow the S’pitori brand outside the country. The Awards which were established by International Committee AFRIMA, in collaboration with the African Union (AU) are there to reward and celebrate musical works, talents and creativity around the African continent while promoting the African cultural heritage. Today, he shared that he is an internationally recognised artists. He managed to bag two Awards at the AFRIMA for best male Southern Africa and best collabo with Davido.
