10 Things You Should Know Da Muziqal Chef. Since breaking into fame, the Amapiano tastemaker and leading producer Da Muziql Chef, in the house sub-genre has since been collaborating with notable Amapiano producers. He recently dropped his EP, which he is known for, titled Nguwe. The mid-tempo, romantic Amapiano classic sees Sino Msolo deliver yet another ballad. In the song, he affirms the love he feels for his love interest. Nguwe has been part of many music lovers’ catalogues long before the official release, as it is regarded as one of the anthems of summer 2021.

Here are 10 things you should know Da Muziqal Chef:

1 Da Muziqal Chef’s real name is Tshepo Bure.

2 He was born and bred in Soweto.

3 In an interview, he revealed that his journey in music has not been easy. “… I had to take a break to find myself. I felt as if I was losing inspiration, and I also didn’t want the songs to sound the same,” he says.

4 He has worked with artists like Sam Deep, De Mthuda, Sir Triill, Njelic, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza de Small, including many others.

5 In February this year, he dropped his EP titled Nguwe which marked his time to shine and take centre stage. Nguwe features Sino Msolo, De Mthuda and Malumanator.

6 He is best known for his hit single titled Dludlu, and when he released his recent EP titled Muziqal Chef, he said: ” “This project is closest to my heart because with it I’m trying to introduce my own unique sound, a fusion of maskandi and amapiano called skandiano. The project is cleverly packed with samples and fusion of classic soulful Mzansi deep house tracks. I’ve sampled classic songs such as Too Late for Mama by Brenda Fassie and added my own twist and turned the song about death and loss into a party anthem.”

7 He has over 233k streams on Spotify.

8 He has been listened to 127 countries since the start of his career, according to Spotify Wrapped.

9 He has 79.7k listeners on Spotify.

10 Today, he is a multi-platinum record producer for his collaborating efforts of De Mthuda;’s EP titled Aces Of Spades.
