Award winning DJ and record producers DJ Maphorisa & Tyler ICU treated fans to an Amapiano banger titled “Banyana,” featuring Kabza De Small and Sir Trill. “Banyana” is an eponymous track in the pair’s recently released album. That body of work features some of the buzzing voices in South Africa’s amapiano orbit. It has been over 3 weeks since the music video of the song dropped, and it has reached the 1 million views milestone on YouTube. Tyler ICU took to social media to celebrate the news with his fans. Tyler ICU’s interest in making beats started when he first heard the debut studio album by American hip hop producer Dr. Dre. He started making beats aged 10 years when he got his first computer.He says that he got to work with Cassper Nyovest when DJ Maphorisa asked Cassper to come work on some songs for a project.
