Semi Tee Reacts To A Gift From Tik Tok As Amapiano Hit Over 1.3 Billion Views On The Platform. Semi Tee’s real name is Tumelo Ramila. Semi Tee was also greatly influenced by the Amapiano genre as a young boy. He made his entry into the music industry by releasing music on YouTube. It was not until 2018 that he officially released his first song, Dwa Ngamabomu. He is ALSO the hitmaker of ‘Labantwana AmaUber’ hit song.

With amapiano being the biggest and most popular genre at the moment, it has taken over social media and streaming platforms. Tik Tk has also decided to show appreciation to the genre, which has taken over the world by storm. Semi Tee being one of the amapiano stars, received a gift from Tik Tok celebrating amapiano having reached over 1.3 billion views on the platform. “Thanks To @tiktok_southafrica @tiktok for this gift
As we celebrate over 1,3 billion views on TikTok#Amapiano,” he wrote. Check it out:

Semi Tee dropped ‘Labanwata Ama Uber’ in 2019, and the song broke so many records and became one of the biggest amapiano songs released that year. The song had massive airplay and millions of streams, awarding the artist the fame and recognition he has been yearning for. “Labantwana Ama Uber reached 10x platinum and that was a dream come true to me,” he said. The song was the biggest song in 2019 and despite the controversies around the lyrics which people thought they were promoting drugs, Semi Tee broke the silence regarding that and said, “We are on cloud nine because our song is well received, and we refuse to pay attention to negative comments that we are promoting drugs,” producer Semi Tee said.
