Pics! Killer Kau’s Family Take The ‘Best Amapiano Collaboation’ Award To His Gravesite. Sakhile Hlatshwayo, known professionally as Killer Kau, was a South African rapper, dancer and record producer best known for his hit song “Tholukuthi Hey”. His fame started when he made a silly video of himself while chilling with friends and posted it on WhatsApp. His contacts asked him to send it to them, and, in no time, it had gone viral within his circle of friends. Since then, Killer released more hit songs in an attempt to prove that he is not a one-hit-wonder.
The late artists Mpura and Killer Kau, who passed away in a tragic accident that took the lives of six people, received posthumous awards at the first-ever South African AmaPiano Music Awards. The two musicians were rewarded for their stunning contributions to the constantly growing AmaPiano genre in a ceremony that was held at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg on Saturday.
Killer Kau won the award for Best AmaPiano Collaboration for the song “AmaNeighbor”, which he made with Mr Jazziq and which features Reece Madlisa, Zuma, Focalistic and Thackzin. His family took his award to his gravesite. Check it out:
