Musa Keys’ Hit Single Has Been Certified Double Platinum. Musa Appreciate Makamu, Musa Keys was born in Giyani and raised in Polokwane. The multi hit track maker became South Africa’s most loved due to his love for music that began at the age of 13 through playing piano at church. He learnt how to produce music by observing the works of other producers and with help from his mentor Lazarus Thobejane. Since then, he had produced multiple hits that are performing quite well on music streaming platforms and on the charts.

Musa Keys’ hit single ‘Vula Mlomo’ which he blew to fame with, has just been certified double platinum. In a video of him being awarded the plaque, Musa was also welcoming gifts from luxurious clothing brands. Musa Keys is now the producer of “double platinum” hit single “Vula Mlomo” featuring Sir Trill and Nobantu. Musa Keys produces his own songs and releases them via his own record label Keys Records, which he is 100% owner and founder. Check it out:

He fell in love with music at a young age and he decided quite early to pursue it.So, after graduating high school he went on to study sound engineering at Damelin but dropped out during his second year.“I felt like we were stagnant and that I was being taught things that I already know. I had already done music and I was already a part of the industry that’s when I decided to drop out to pursue my music because I saw that it was starting to work out. At first, I didn’t think there would come a time where music would be my only focus, I always that I was going to be an architect.”

The self- acclaimed Tsonga Michael Jackson has been touring Africa and he is very excited to see where his music takes him. He hopes to reach large crowds with his music and to leave a lasting impact on amapiano genre and music in general in South Africa.
