Sizwe “Reason” Alakine Explains 5 Things That Motivated Him To Do Amapiano. Reason, who recently rebranded and changed his name to Sizwe Alkaline as he ventures into the lucrative trending music genre, Amapiano has been making headlines recently for his contribution towards amapiano.

Sizwe Alakine took to social media to answer a fan who asked what motivated and inspired him to join Amapiano. The star listen five reasons to explain, “1. I love the sound so much I started coming up with ideas for it. 2. I’ve done everything I needed to do in hip hop. 3. I wanna create a new lane for rappers like me in the sound. 4. Cause it’s a proudly South African sound the growing internationally. 5. Why not?,” he wrote. See tweet:

DJ Maphorisa and Reason collaborated on Reason’s amapiano track, Khanda Shisa. In his previous tweet, Reason addressed the ghostwriting claims. He simply tweeted “I don’t ghost write. I co-write”. He made no mention of if he was speaking of Madumane’s viral verse on hit single ‘izolo’ but he could be directing his tweet at the recent claims.
