Lady Du Reveals Why She Agreed To Be Featured By Blind Artist ‘Hypnosis Muzik’. Lady Du’s musical journey speaks to her resilience, and her success can rightfully be attributed to her perseverance. Today, her name is listed among the very stars she once mentioned on the track. Since 2020, she has collaborated with heavyweights like Oskido, Cassper Nyovest, Khuli Chana, Focalistic, De Mthuda, Josiah De Disciple, Busta 929, DBN Gogo and many others.
Considering that she also got her big break after being featured in a track by JazziQ, Lady Du is ready to give the next star a break. She took to social media to share with her followers that she has agreed to work with upcoming musician Hypnosis Muzik, not only because he is blind, but because he believes in giving people a chance. “I have done soooo many things in my life but I have never been soooo touched by a project like this one, magiva is blind, he approached me to work on a song, I said yes, the reason I said yes, was not because I found out he was blind, but because I want to show people that it’s possible, that you should never let your situation stop you from following your dreams. He chose me because he loves my music, he was literally the most amazing person to work with yesterday, with such a beautiful spirit, he kept touching my outfits feeling the texture saying I know this is beautiful, just to give compliments. Listen I plead with you guys that when this story and song comes out yall support him. The song is also very nice. But this comes from the bottom of my heart. Please buy his music. We need more people like him. @hypnosismuzik may God bless your heart for this.”
While on the brink of giving up, the star met with JazziQ who convinced her to record what now is one of her biggest songs ‘Superstar’. “It’s funny that I popped because of amapiano. When “Superstar” was released, I had been working with JazziQ for a while. We have a few deep house tracks that we released together! My dad and JazziQ’s uncle are business partners so he’s more of a brother to me. “Superstar” was actually the last song I had planned to do. I had so many scars from having previously tried to launch my music career and felt like it was time to give up. I now know some of the celebrities I sang about on “Superstar” personally.”
