Lady Du Reveals The 3 Artists That Really Deserve The Credit For Her Blow Up. Lady Du is currently one of the hottest voices in amapiano. Lady Du, real name Dudu Ngwenya, first learned how to play at the tender age of nine. Since then and during her early adult life, she had been trying to get a successful break into the music industry. Though she made songs with renowned producers such as DJ Clock, DJ Mshega and DJ Maphorisa (back when he still did gqom) in 2013, 2014 and 2018 respectively, her breakthrough only came under a year ago through the track “Superstar”, alongside Mr JazziQ.

Lady Du took to social media to share that there are three people that deserve credit for her blow up. She mentioned that Naak Musiq, Bash vision and Boity Thulo are the ones that gave her an opportunity of a lifetime. She further went on to say that the people who’ve helped her, gave her an opportunity to write a song for one major artist, and as a result, she got more song writing opportunities because of that, and showed her gratitude. “I’ve been looking for this video today it came as a memory, here are the people that deserve credit for my blow up, people that gave me a platform when no one else believed in me. I’ve been writing songs for a lot of artists, serious hit songs, if I can tell you you’d pass out, but they kept quite, and that’s fine.”

“@iamnaakmusiq @bashvision @boity hired me as a vocal coach and song writer for Boity. After this episode I had sooo many people call me for song writing, and that’s when people noticed I’m actually talented. Today I’d like to thank you guys for this!!!!!!! It was on this day that my career planted a fruitful seed!!!!! I was already on my journey y’all boosted the girl 🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏 forever greatful May God bless you guys. This was the toughest year of my life I was going through a lot, I picked myself up and gave my best ❤️❤️❤️ I remember calling Naak telling him I was depressed, he helped out ❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥 ngisa bonga na today”
