DBN Gogo Reveals Why She Cancelled A Gig At 02 Arena. Mandisa Radebe “DBN GOGO”, Durban-born DJ has worked her way up to becoming one of the most popular women DJs in the industry. Having played at events such as Ultra, Oppikoppi, Homecoming Africa & worked with brands such as Strawberry Lips & Ray-Ban, she has been able to do everything her way.

DBN Gogo who has been booked and busy recently took to social media that she recently cancelled a gig at 02 Arena to fulfil some of her personal obligations that are close to her heart. The star was quite surprised that things had to get to that point. “Cancelled a gig at the damn 02 arena to fulfill and obligation that was so close to my heart. And this is what it comes down to. Lol absolutely unbelievable,” she wrote. See tweet:

Speaking on balancing her career and family, the star explained that she still finds it weird that when she’s free during weekdays, her friends are at work. Whie when her friends are free during weekends, she’s working. “I’m still struggling with that right now. Because people in my life are busy during the week & I’m busy on the weekends. Sometimes I’m busy during the week also. But you make time. Luckily a lot of my friends also enjoy coming to my gigs so I can see them there. You make time & that’s one thing I’ve been trying to do a lot more lately, is to make time to do other stuff & not taking gigs unnecessarily. I don’t need to be everywhere,” she said.
