Cassper Expresses Frustration With Extreme Loadshedding In His Area. As South Africa moved to level 1 lockdown, another load shedding ‘pandemic’ stroke the country. This comes after load shedding was implemented mid October.

Cassper took to social media to share his frustrations with extreme load shedding in his area. The star said he didn’t miss South Africa with load shedding while on tour outside the country. He also mentioned that his area experienced load shedding from 9am to 7pm and it went off again at 10pm, all that on the same day. “I’m definitely going offgrid!!! I can’t take this load shedding shit no more!!! The electricity in my area went off from 9 am to to 7Pm and then it went off now at 10pm. It’s an expensive decision Mara noh fok, these people don’t give a fuck!!! I definitely didn’t miss this!!,” he wrote. See tweet:

A few days ago,Eskom chief executive Andre de Ruyter said the power utility is working on repairs at its power stations, with stage 2 load shedding expected to end shortly, nearly a week after being implemented.

Speaking to eNCA, de Ruyter said that load shedding will be lifted on Thursday morning (14 October) under current planning, adding that no further power outages are anticipated in the run-up to and over the country’s local government elections on 1 November.
