Major League DJz Reveal The Music Genre That Changed Their Lives. Major League DJz are an Amapiano duo that knows perfectly well how to spice our weekends. The duo first emerged as one of the Hip Hop and Kwaito DJs, however, as time went by, the duo jumped into something more popular and hot, and since then the duo have been doing a remarkable job when it comes to introducing amapiano to a wider audience.

The duo have been making headlines within the Amapiano scene since the pandemic’s lockdown started. Though the duo have been in the industry for quite a while now, they have admitted that amapiano changed their lives. “Amapiano Changed our Life’s,” they wrote. See tweet:

While the 30-year-old stars admit to have taken a knock like many event organisers, they are not staying down. “To have that income not coming in has been tough. Sure we have done online stuff, but it’s not as much money as the festivals would have done,” Bandile admitted. To combat for the disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, they have started a YouTube web-series Amapiano Live Balcony Mix Africa that sees them performing live sets. Since its inception last year, the web-series has featured guest appearances by Kabza, Maphorisa, JazziQ, Busta 929, and many more.
