Major League DJz Reveal The American Artist They’re In Studio With. South African Dance music duo that consist of twin brothers Major League DJz, have been consistent within the Amapiano culture. The pair, who are currently overseas on a ‘take Amapiano to the world’ tour, have been contributing towards the growth of amapiano, more especially to countries outside Africa.

The duo announced that they had a tour in America, and with that said, they are in studio with Will.I.Am. This is quite a milestone considering that they are the forefront of amapiano, a South African sound that has now crossed the international boarders. See post:

Having hosted shows for Fat Joe, 50 Cent and Akon, Major League DJz have proven to be one of the most formidable duos in South Africa. Founding New Age Kwaito, celebrating South Africa’s rich musical history and driving the country’s diverse musical scene to the forefront of mainstream music.

While the 30-year-old stars admit to have taken a knock like many event organisers, they are not staying down. “To have that income not coming in has been tough. Sure we have done online stuff, but it’s not as much money as the festivals would have done,” Bandile said. To combat for the disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, they have started a YouTube web-series Amapiano Live Balcony Mix Africa that sees them performing live sets.
