Cassper Responds To Claims That He Didn’t Write “Siyathandana”. Cassper Nyovest whose real name is Refiloe Maele Phoolo as many already know is not a small fish to fry when it comes to music in the country, in fact he’s currently regarded as one of the most successful music artist in the country with countless hit tracks. The mega genre-crossing rapper, singer and producer recently dropped “Siyathandana” featuring Boohle and Abidoza, and since it’s release, the track has gained over 7 million views on YouTube.
Cassper reacted to Boohle’ claims that he didn’t write the verses on “Siyathandana”. The star was quite unimpressed with Boohle and what she said during MacG’s podcast. He wrote, “This is so disappointing and I’ve watched it a few times. I won’t even explain anything about how this song was written but I got sooo much love for Boohle man. One of the most gentle of souls I’ve met and we made magic together. May God bless her, May she make many more hits.”
“Siyathandana” is the third instalment release from King Fill Up and does not disappoint. This latest song has every beat in place, with Cassper coming in right when it gets hot. The track serves as yet another reminder that Cassper Nyovest is always at the forefront of musical shifts — the latest being amapiano. Boohle on vocals makes it a love song, while Abidoza on the beats makes it a viby yanos track with a generous serving of synths and log drums.
The track became a favourite to many yanos lovers, and some fans were also disappointed in Boohle, while supporting Cassper. One Cassper’s fan wrote, “Cassper even said it himself, he wrote the melody of the song & Boohle wrote the song. It was unnecessary for her to act like its not Cass song but hers. He didn’t write the song but contributed more than a verse. So disappointed in Boohle for not defending Cassper.” See reactions:
