Watch! Mpura’s Girlfriend Pays Tribute To The Late Star. Mpura shone bright recently during the rise of the amapiano genre, having been part of great collaborations that gave Mzansi hits including Umsebenzi Wethu. Since then, his career had been skyrocketing. The news of his passing left Mzansi weeping and mourning for the loss of a young bright star.

His girlfriend took to social media compiling videos of their moments together as a way to show tribute to the late star. “Ntwana Yam , Keeps , LeSupa Laka , Chomi … Mongezi. Only God knows why honestly , ours had ended but we kept the respect & the support alive . You’ve shattered my heart … We were supposed to take it to the top dawg 💔 Please be my Angel & watch over me … I’m going to miss you soooooo much 💔 In the next life you owe me one of those memorable performances. You had so much to still give but I believe you’ve served your purpose Oh My did you work so hard & make it shake ! Yoh 💔 inhliziyo yam ebhuhlungu -Nanzoke Ntwami Nanzoke Ngithanda fuckt up . You Were Not A Normal One,” she wrote.

Police launched an investigation into alleged culpable homicide following the deaths of six people involved in a fatal car accident in Marikana which took the lives of musicians Mpura and Killer Kau. In a statement, the department of transport, roads and community safety spokesperson Boitshoko Moremi said on August 7, six people died in a head-on collision on the N4 in Rustenburg near the Marikana toll gate.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the deceased and we hope they find strength during this difficult period. An investigation is under way to establish the cause of the accident. We are again appealing to people to adhere to the regulations as most accidents happen way past curfew time. Work with our law enforcement officials to ensure you arrive alive.
