In related news to the passing of Mpura and Killer Kau, yanos DJ DBN Gogo took to social media to respond to a curious fan who wanted to know more following the crash that claimed the lives of his favourites. BN Gogo revealed that not only Mpura and Killer Kau died during the tragic accident. She said that a total of five men, who have all been identified, died in the horrific crash.
In an interview with Everything SA Music, the star spoke about how Mpura was like a brother to him. The outlet shared the interview on Monday, 9 August after the news of Mpura’s untimely passing. JazziQ shared that he is sad because he won’t be able to attend the burial of his friends, Mpura and Killer Kau because he is out of the country. The star took to social media to vent onto his fans, “Ask me how sad it is when you are in a different country and can’t even attend the burial of your own laaties! Fuck..”
The two stars were friends from high school, and with JazziQ being from a well off family and already having a music background, he gave Mpura a chance and an opportunity to enter the entertainment industry, thus Mpura has mentioned in this interviews multiple times that he is grateful to JazziQ. “I’m always in the streets and it’s not safe in the streets. So I pray for safety because there are a lot of things in the streets that are not good., and we’ll leave them here.
