Lady Du Shares S Heartfelt Appreciation Post To Boohle. Dudu Ngwenya, Lady Du as she is fondly known by her fans, has been working on her music career since the age of 9 years old, and it was only in 2020 that she received her big break. Just when she was ready to quit again, she received a call from Tumelo Mr JazziQ” Manyoni who introduced her to Amapiano music. She made the singles Dabula and Superstar.

Lady Du took to social media to show appreciation for Boohle as one of the amapiano vocalists who hails from the same hood as her. The star wrote a heartfelt message captioned: “Appreciation post for my favourite person in the world, I don’t think y’all know how super close we are, this one is literally my younger sister. we grew up in the same hood, like the same things. I’m proud of you really proud of you. ❤️❤️❤️ I love you to the moon and back @boohle_sa asambe skeem Sam.”

For years, Lady Du struggled with getting her big break. Today, it’s hard to miss her face on a flashing billboard on Times Square in New York. Her singles Dakiwe and Catalia are some of the most popular songs in the Amapiano scene and she features in Umsebenzi Wethu by Busta 929, Mpura, Mr JazziQ, Reece Madlisa, and Zuma.

Boohle on the other hand has been making headlines recently following her features on some of the biggest amapiano tracks. Boohle real name Buhle Manyathi hailing from Vosloorus, says it’s been a long journey to making a name for herself since venturing into music in 2016 as a mother of one.“My biggest motivation is my family. I’ve been with them and they supported me even when they didn’t understand what I was doing. They supported me when I had a kid because I was very young.”
