“I’m Not Here For A Long Time,” Watch Mpura’s Emotional Interview 2 Months Before His Passing. South African Amapiano stars, Mpura and Killer Kau passed away a few days ago. It is believed the two died while on their way to a gig to Rustenburg. According to Sunday World, the two passed away after a fatal car crash.

Two months ago, Mpura did an emotional interview with Ricy Rick, talking about what he wants the world to remember him as when he’s gone. “I want to thank God for creating someone like me, Mr Jazziq brought into this life. So I could be here. I won’t be here for a long time, I want people to still feel my presence even when I’m no longer here. This is what I tell myself: wake up and drink the coffee, stop smelling it,” he said.

Riky Rick who did an interview wth the late star, expressed his feelings on social media, “Becoming a legend at a young age is hard but @killerkau_rsa carried the weight on his shoulders. He never stopped. Never changed. Loved by all of us. Just this friday we planned to shoot something together with @mpura_mpura , my heart is broken boy. Im sorry my dawg. Love you so much. Rest Easy king. We won’t forget you.”

DJ Oscar Mbo took to Instagram stories sharing his tribute to the late Mpura. “Very sad morning. amajita always had great spirits and very jolly too. Death is such a painful thing. Doubt I can [get] used to it. Thank you to the contributions to the industry and the urban culture over all. Rest in peace Mupralazi. Rest in peace Killer. Rest in peace The Voice,” he wrote

DJ Sbu, Khuli Chana, DJ Speedsta and other celebrities also took to social media expressing their grief and disbelief at the news. “Just woke up to the sad news of their passing. Deepest condolences to their family, friends, loved ones & dear fans. Lalani ngoxolo young Kings The LORD is close to the brokenhearted & saves those who are crushed in spirit,” DJ Sbu wrote.
