Amapiano Artists React To Mpura And Killer Kau’s Reported Passing. South African musicians and amapiano stars Mpura and Killer Kau have reportedly passed away. It is believed the two died on their way to a gig to Rustenburg, and this is according to Sunday World. According to a source who spoke to Sunday World, the two passed away after a car crash.
Amapiano vocalist and disc jockey Lady Du was allegedly the one to first break the story on her now-deleted Instagram post. After learning of the news, fans and amapiano artists took to social media to pay tribute to the late stars and remembering their talents. Although it is still a shock considering that they were recently introduced to fame and their careers had just taken off, the yanos community took to social media expressing their heartfelt messages.
It is also believed that Kabza De Small was with the two on the night before they passed away. This led fans to speculate if Kabza has passed away as well, however, Sunday World’s source confirmed that Kabza was well. The Amapiano star also took to Twitter, to express his emotions on the developing story.
Riky Rick who also collaborated with Mpura, shared that he is heartbroken by the news. “Rest In Peace our @mpura_mpura You were the happiest person in every room, your spirit was what we needed in our lives, selfless, humble and loving. Love you so much my brother. Thank you for everything you did while you were still here. Gonna miss you so much bro. Im sorry your journey had to end like this.
