Cassper Reacts To Reason Jumping To Amapiano After Being Criticised For It. Rapper Reason recently teased an amapiano track with DJ Maphorisa, and also called it ‘the next Ngud’ as he believes it is a hit. With amapiano being the biggest genre at the moment, many artists including Hip Hop artists have jumped into the genre. Reason’s recent yanos announcement sparked some controversies on social media.
Cassper Nyovest reacted to Reason announcing that he will be dropping an amapiano joint with Maphorisa this coming Friday, 23 July. This comes after Cassper was criticised for joining the amapiano train, and Cass is finding it amusing that fellow Hip Hop mates are shifting lanes to join the yanos too. One social media mentioned that many rappers were subtweeting Cassper about making amapiano music, and can’t wait to see what they say about Reason’s re-branding effort. The user wrote, “Its going to be interesting what thr other SA rappers are going to say since Reason jumped on the piano wagon…lol they were subbing Cass!”
Cassper was quite triggered by the apparent double standards in the industry. He said: “They aren’t gonna say shit. It’s not what you’re doing, it’s who is doing it. The truth is I am the pulse.
