Prince Kaybee Calls Out Busta 929 For Continuing To Work With Underage Girl Despite Backlashes. Amapiano producer and DJ Busta 929 found himself trending between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning after he appeared in an Instagram livestream with underage girls who were not fully clothed.
A new video showing Busta 929 continuing to work with the same underage girl he was reportedly accused of ‘accommodating’ has gone viral, and once again, making Busta top the trends list. The video sparked outrage while some demand Busta to be cancelled. Prince Kaybee who is also known for being quite vocal on social media commented on the video mocking Busta from releasing the biggest song in the country ‘Umsebenzi Wethu’ to the new supposed single he is working on with the girl. “From the biggest song in the country “Umsebenzi Wethu” to this…? For what. Whats gnna happen next, the girl is ggna realize she got no talent so out of frustration she’s gnna speak her truth about what really happened that night. Goodluck,” he wrote.
This comes after Busta 929 had admitted to taking underage girls home without their parents’ consent and his reasons for doing so have left social media users dumbfounded. On Thursday afternoon 17 June, the amapiano DJ released an official statement that he didn’t take advantage of the girl, as he picked the girl up after showing interest in working with him. He also said that the girl was with him and a few others for 2 days, recording songs. He said that she just took her bath that’s why she was towel as seen in the video.
Someone claiming to be a sister to the girls approached popular gossip page Hot And Served via Instagram for assistance in finding the girls after they were spotted on the livestream. At the point the sister approached the page, the girls had not returned home and their families were worried. “Saturday my little sis and her friends went to Rooftop Mohlakeng because Busta 929 was performing there and word is he took them to Sandton. We’ve been worried sick about them apparently they are even going live [on Instagram] with Busta in the live videos. They are mere 14 year old’s. Can they just come back home?” reads part of the message sent to the gossip page’s Instagram inbox.
Black Twitter is calling Busta 929 out, and accusing him of using the song as a cover up and damage control for his sagas and in fear of facing the music. “Busta must be arrested, really. If you dig your own grave, you create serious problems for yourself by doing something foolish. Listen ’till the end, Sol and puns. Busta thinks we not smart enough to see this is bullshxt?,” wrote one user.
“Busta is disrespecting our intelligence,” wrote another social media user.
“So Busta 929 has no choice but to drop a song with those kids. #Busta #Busta929,” wrote another user.
