Major League DJz Reveal The Reason They Can’t Host Amapiano Balcony Mix At The Dome Yet. The musical twin duo, Major League DJz are looking to break new grounds in their amapiano mixes as they announced plans to take their mixing sessions to the Dome. The Dome is a 20,000 capacity auditorium in the heart of South Africa. Their friend Cassper Nyovest had had a stint there, and he once filled The Dome. This comes after the twins duo took to social media in an Instagram post, statinf that whether fans are ready or not, they’re coming to the Dome with amapiano and taking the genre to the world. Dubbed The Beat of Africa, the imminent balcony mix has no date yet. For now, fans may want to stay tuned as the pair has promised fore details soon.
With that said, the twins duo revealed why they cannot host the Amapiano balcony Mix yet. Taking to social media, Major League DJz shared the they need the coronavirus vaccine to be able to host the Balcony Mix at The Dome. “Guys we need vaccinations to host balcony mix africa at the dome without it we can’t host events at the magnitude. 😡,” they wrote.
The stars admitted to have taken a knock like many event organisers, but they are not staying down. “To have that income not coming in has been tough. Sure we have done online stuff, but it’s not as much money as the festivals would have done,” Bandile said. To combat for the disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, they have started a YouTube web-series Amapiano Live Balcony Mix Africa that sees them performing live sets. Since its inception last year, the web-series has featured guest appearances by Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa, Focalistic, Busta 929, Mr JazziQ, and many more.
“The web-series is very big internationally. YouTube is a great platform that can show you how to do things different,” Banele added.
