Major League DJz Announce Partnership With SA Alcohol Brand. Sponsorships and partnerships with brands is another way and alternative for artists in the music space to have a source of income considering the negative impacts of COVID-19 on events and gatherings.

Amapiano duo excitedly announced partnership with alcohol brand, Orijin SA. Taking to social media, a video advert was shared and the two promoted the product. The twins also revealed that something huge will be announced soon as regards to their partnership. “Super excited to announce @orijinsa is officially a part of the Team Major League. This is going to be a partnership that going to blow your mind away…STAY TUNED,” they wrote.

The stars also received welcoming gifts from Orijin SA. “Thank you @orijinsa for welcoming us back with our West Afica tour with these amazing gifts,” they captioned the video.

The disruption the Covid-19 pandemic has caused on musicians, event planners and organisers was that huge that Major League DJz duo decided to continue throwing parties like they have always done, but this time adhering to COVID-19 regulations with their Amapiano Balcony mix Africa. Admitting to have taken a knock like many event organisers, they are not staying down. “To have that income not coming in has been tough. Sure we have done online stuff, but it’s not as much money as the festivals would have done,” Bandile said.

The episode with Kabza De Small has been viewed over 447k times within a week, while the one with Mr JazziQ is sitting on 532k views after two weeks. “That has been a sensation for us and it got a lot of sponsors involved. With the second wave, we are not opening it to other artists in the amapiano space,” Bandile said. “The web-series is very big internationally. YouTube is a great platform that can show you how to do things different,” Banele added.
