He is also one of the youngest DJs who contribute to the popular genre. He is known his Gospel Amapiano sound which has set him apart from several other DJs. DJ Obza has been one of Amapiano‘s most consistent contributors.

Here are 10 things you should know about DJ Obza:

1 DJ Obza’s real name is Obakeng Kekana.

2 DJ Obza is from Hammaskraal, Pretoria, South Africa.

3 He is currently signed under Open Mic Productions.

4 Obakeng Kekana was born on the 26th day of December, 1996. He is 24 years old.

5 DJ Obza recently dropped his album titled . Before that, he had released several mixes, and songs, and has featured on songs by several other DJs. He is also credited for his work on Leon Lee‘s album “Iyeza Piano”. He has been praised for the track “Umuntu”.

6 The star rose to fame with his songs Mang’Dakiwe and Dlozi Lam.

7 He is among the youngest prolific DJs and producers in the Amapiano scene.

8 He is currently coocking a song with  DJ Zandimaz on a song titled Umgqibelo, which is a tribute to the late rapper Cal Vin.

9 The star reently came back from his tour in Tanzania representing Mzansis sound, amapiano.
