10 Things You Should Know About DJ Jawz. High talented record producer and Disc Jockey DJ Jawz, has proven to be one of the best versatile hit makers in the country. He continues to prove he’s one of the best in the country with his massive production skills, one of which he displayed on his last afro house hit track “Nawe” where he collaborated with Gobi Beast and TLT. The star has also been tapping into the amapiano scene, adding to a list of artists to look out for in 2021.

Here are 10 things you should know about DJ Jawz:

1 DJ Jawz real name is Itumeleng Sebola.

2 DJ Jawz started writing music in high school and producing in 2004.

3 He did a single titled Good Life with the late Flabba, which dropped in 2015. Followed by Come Roll With Us featuring Cassper Nyovest and AB Crazy in 2016.

4 DJ Jazw  works at Metro FM as a technical as well as content producer for the Absolute Hip Hop hosted by DJ Speedsta and Loot-Love.

5 In 2020 he produced a track titled Sukuma with Aubrey Qwana, TouchLine, Balinde and Jerah. In the same year, he ran a feature on Metro, called Below the Surface where he invited up-and-coming rappers to submit their music to be played on air.

6 His skill has taken him to Paris, London and Zanzibar, to name a few.

7 His partner in crime is Tswyza also known as Mrekza, from his role on Generations the legacy.

8 DJ Jawz also runs The Get Down with DJ Zan D, which is a DJ event and they feature young artists and legendary artists.

9 In 2021, the star decided to tap into the amapiano scene, working with the likes of the new age Bob Mabena, Busta 929, Reece Madlisa and Zuma. His amapiano hit ‘Ringo’ has just surpassed over 1 million views on YouTube after 4 months of its official drop.

10 In an interview with Daily Sun, the star revealed that he would like to work with DJ Maphorisa, Black Coffee, and DJ Jazzy Jeff as he looks up to them.
