Semi Tee: “Labantwana Ama Uber Did 10 Times Platinum”. Tumelo Ramaila famously known as Semi Tee dropped ‘Labanwata Ama Uber’ in 2019, and the song broke so many records and became one o the biggest amapiano songs released on that year. The ‘Labantwana Ama Uber’ was released by the trio Sicelo Sikhosana known as Miano), Tumelo Ramaila known as Semi Tee, and Kamogelo Duma famously known as Kammu Dee.

The song had massive airplay and millions of streams, awarding the artist the fame and recognition he has been yearning for. “Labantwana Ama Uber reached 10x platinum and that was a dream come true to me,” he said. The song was the biggest song in 2019 and despite the controversies around the lyrics which people thought they were promoting drugs, Semi Tee broke the silence regarding that and said, “We are on cloud nine because our song is well received, and we refuse to pay attention to negative comments that we are promoting drugs,” producer Semi Tee said.

At the age of 21, Semi Tee had already reached a lot in the music industry, as he also dropped an album titled ‘I am only 21’ featuring the likes of Focalistic, Njelic, Semi Tee and many more to celebrate his success at such a young age. Only four weeks after its release, Labantwana Abama Uber had already reached a gold status and having its creator on cloud nine. “I feel blessed and didn’t think the single will reach gold status so soon. We are planning on releasing another EP that consists of seven songs at the end of November,” Semi Tee said.

Semi Tee started learning the art of music while growing up in Orlando West, Soweto, while in Grade 10 at Kennistry Music Records. Speaking on Music is everything to me. It comes from the heart and every beat I produce has a way of touching other people’s hearts,” he said.
