However, Maphorisa revealed that he prefers DJ’ing over producing music. “Music producing and DJing both go together but DJ’ing is hand to mouth. DJ is better because you get the money now. While producing you have to wait for you guys to buy it and you also wait for royalties. DJ is also better because of the excitement of playing new songs,” he said.
The star toured African countries and countries outside Africa playing their music and introducing the sound to people outside Africa.
