Kabza De Small real name Kabelo Petrus Motha has been hitting the industry for a while now releasing amapiano smash hits that continue to make history till date or as long as amapiano stays relevant. He is one of the amapiano pioneer that has created some ground breaking sounds to revolutionalise the amapiano sound. His work is recognised globally and the SAMA27 couldn’t help but recognise one our own.
Kabza De Small walked away with the most nominations after the South African Music Awards (SAMA27) finalists were announced on Wednesday night. His album I Am the King of Amapiano: Sweet & Dust got the nomination after three categories: Album of the Year, Male Artist of the Year and Best Amapiano Album. Once Upon A Time in Lockdown, his album collaboration with DJ Maphorisa (Scorpion Kings) also scored Duo/Group of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Amapiano Album bringing his tally to six nominations.
