After the success of his single ‘Lerato’ featuring Rorisang, today DJ Sumbody drops his new single Iyamemeza featuring The Lowkeys and Drip Gogo.
The single has already been making its rounds on the newly opened dancefloors and fans have been waiting in anticipation for Ashi Nthwela to drop the smash. Iyamemeza begins with a calm, sultry Amapiano beat, soothing vocals from Drip Gogo, then quickly takes things up a notch to get you off your feet.
Amapiano has taken over the South African music scene, and is clearly here to stay producers like DJ Sumbody ensuring that our playlists are full of hits. Having made a name for himself with unforgettable hits such as Ayepyep, Monate Mpolaye and Suk’emabhozeni, DJ Sumbody has cemented himself as part of ipiano.
His album, ‘Piano Ibiza’, is set to be released this winter, and it is definitely going to be South Africa’s next smash Amapiano album.

Famously known in the entertainment industry as DJ Sumbody, Oupa John Sefoka has mastered the art of being a successful artist and entrepreneur. In his youth, he would make taxi rounds so that he could have enough money to buy himself vinyls. After volunteering for 12 months, as a featured presenter on the Friday breakfast show with DJ Syco and Lee, he got his first break as a producer and presenter on his own show called “Mashaedi on the Engage” between 10pm-1am. DJ Sumbody debuted his first house compilation disc in 2012 called “Larger Than House: Volume 1” released by 187 records distributed by Soul Candy. He followed that with his second house album titled “Larger Than House: Volume 2”. His talent and skill were noticed by promoters who offered him the opportunity to DJ at different events. After years of working the industry, he got his big break with his single, ‘Ayepyep’ featuring Tira, Thebe and Emza. He then established himself in the Amapiano genre with his smash single ‘Monate Mpolaye’ featuring rapper, Cassper Nyovest.
