10 Things You Should Know About DJ Zandimaz. DJ Zandimaz who shot fame after her hit single ‘Emathandweni’ which features Nokwazi gained so much popularity and has become one of the amapiano hits. Since entering the music industry, the star is determined to release timeless music to keep her fans on their dance feet. The Amapiano track has over 1.8 million views on YouTube. At one time, it was number four on Shazam. Since the track’s release, it has been topping radio charts in Mzansi and Zimbabwe.

Here are 10 things you should know about DJ Zandimaz:

1 DJ Zandimaz’s real name is Zandile Mazithulela.

2  She hails from Esigodini in Bulawayo, Zimabwe.

3 She is a South Africa based, multi -talented, Female House DJ and producer.

4 She stepped in the South African DJ scene in 2012.

5 She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of South Africa.

6 She got her first big break in 2013 on a popular youth Dj talent show that showcased the latest DJ’s at Cubana. Zandimaz became a resident DJ for Cubana club in 2013 to 2014,This pushed Zandimaz into the spotlight.

7 She said she was inspired by DJ Zinhle.

8 Over the years she has grabbed the attention of some of Mzansi’s most respected DJs and artists such as Busiswa, Nokwazi and Oskido, She has today become one of the best female house DJs in Southern Africa.

9 It seems Zandimaz was destined to appear behind the decks, hence her career change, as she is a Lawyer by profession.

10 She released ‘Emathandweni’ last year 2020, which became a hit. Speaking on her track that that blew up, Zandimaz said: “It’s really overwhelming I won’t lie. The amount of love I’m receiving from people who are effortlessly loving my song is so much. They are graciously loving it and it’s so amazing. Sometimes it’s unbelievable because I ask myself if this is me, an Esigodini girl who is in almost all the top charts.”
