Prince Kaybee Releases Live Performance Video Of Piano-driven Single Featuring Nokwazi. South African DJ and music producer Prince Kaybee dropped his 22-track album titled ‘The 4th Republic’ on 5 March 2021. The album album features some of South Africa’s best vocalist and house DJs including Lady Zamar, Ami Faku, King Monada, Black Motion, Shimza, Masuda, Kaylow, and LeboTheGreat just a few. To give a hint of what the album is all about, the DJ dropped ‘Ebabayo’ which is the second single that has been released before the album and the track falls under the amapiano genre.

Kaybee released a live rendition of his new single ‘Ebabayo’ featuring vocalist Nokwazi on Sunday 28 March 2021 on YouTube. The live peformance took place in a makeshift studio and Kaybee appeared on the keyboard, while Nokwazi took part on the vocals on the track. Taking to social media, the star shared the live video and gave props to Nokwazi. “I honestly have new found respect for @nokwazidlams. Thank You for watching and Shout Out to @BeyondVocalSA #The4ThRepublicOutNow,’ wrote Kaybee.

Detailing his collaboration with vocalist Nokwazi, Kaybee said: “Nokwazi adds so much colour to the music. The song wasn’t originally meant to be as vibey. If you listen to the instrumentation sonically, she comes in and adds so much energy to the song. That’s exactly how I imagined it to be.”

Prince Kaybee is clearly exploring the amapiano genre with this latest track but manages to keep to his clean house production style. “Ebabayo” has reportedly been described by Prince Kaybee’s record label as a “high-octane” track that’s sure to strike out some new dances. “I like storytelling in a song; not only the vocalist must tell the story, but the song altogether. I like to say the song and the vocalist must make love; it is an intimate thing between the two parties. The build-up to climax is very important to the song,” said the DJ.
