Cassper Nyovest’s Manager Calls Out Wizkid And Burna Boy For Not Promoting ‘Sponono’. African featuring between South African artists and Nigerian artist have produced major hit that some are still being danced to till date. Some collabos made it to global chart billboard putting the African talent on the map.

Cassper Nyovest dropped an amapiano track with Kabza, DJ Maphorisa featuring Wizkid and Burna boy; however, Cassper’s manager feels the Nigerian duo are not duo their part to promote the track. The manager feels as though they are not acknowledging the track which has the capability to become a massive track. He mentioned that he is a fan of African music and collaborations, however the Nigerian duo didn’t do enough to promote the track. Taking to social media, the manager wrote: “I know Burna & Wizkid had bigger ish poppin, but as a fan of African music & meaningful African collaborations.. them not acknowledging Sponono wasn’t cool, such a slept on record which could’ve been massive across continent. But hey, what do I know. S/O Kabza, Phori & Nyovest.”

Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa and Cassper Nyovest are the ones that have been promoting the song which now has gained such a huge recognition after American pop star singer and dancer Usher had posted a video of himself dancing to the song. Amapiano sound is one sound that seems to be enjoyed globally. Artists from other countries are even joining in the sound by collaborating with Mzansi’s artists.

In case you missed it, other artists such as Focalistic also worked with Nigerian star Davido for a remix of his original amapiano song ‘Ke Star’ and they both promoted the song until it charted on the global chart billboard among American stars like Cardi B. The star gained recognition outside South Africa that he was spotted on the Times Square Billboard in New York.
